1. The visiting teaching routes in our ward were re-done. I go with an elderly sister, Elva, in our ward now who is seriously too cute. She will definitely be good for me and keep me on my toes! We went today to our three new ladies (who are all within a mile of my house-how convenient!) and Grayson had a ball. The first gave him a sucker & the other two have animals in their house which he loved...

3. The hours from 1-3 at this house have become somewhat of a sacred time around here...This is Gray's naptime-and has become mine as well. I turn off my phones & lay down for an hour and then get stuff done for the second hour. Today while slumbering, I awakened to 2 men's voices in my house...feeling a little alarmed I came out to find Dad & Bob in my laundry room fixing my washer. They had tried calling & thought I was gone & I was laughing thinking "who is in my house?!"
4. This story makes me cry. You have to read the original account on February 1st of what happened. I can so relate to this mom-who of us hasn't done something like this at one point or another. I am so grateful she had an understanding & loving husband...and that miracles happen on a daily basis. God is SO good. And, I'm entirely grateful to have the priesthood in my home.
5. Made these delicious cookies yesterday. Correction: my dad ran to town for the instant pudding mix required, made the dough for me, and then I made the cookies & the glaze at their house. What a guy. And what yummy cookies. Packaged them in cute Chinese boxes with ribbon for my visiting teaching sisters. Thanks to Amber for sharing.
6. One of Zac and my goals for this year was to get out of personal debt. We started reading two of Dave Ramsey's books in January & have thoroughly enjoyed them.

7. Another thing we've been trying to do & read up on & counsel with successful people about is becoming more effective business owners/operators. One of the things we've been wanting to implement is the usage of HUGE white boards in our staff rooms in each store. These are for organization trackers, goal tracking, etc., but if you've ever priced large white boards, you're in for a really...extremely...high priced treat! They can run up to a few hundred dollars a piece and we need four. So, we've been doing some research & this is what we came up with. Homemade white boards! I am super excited. Especially for what we'll be using them for they'll be perfect. But, how cool would it be to do one in the boys room or a playroom & let them play to their hearts content? Well maybe not till they're older & understand the saying, "only on the whiteboard!" a little better, but you get the drift! (:
8. Made yummy chicken pillows for dinner last night. I got the recipe from kevinandamanda.com and added a half can of cream of chicken soup to the mixture before putting it in the biscuits. Divine, I tell you. Had enough for both me & Z for leftovers today too. Gotta love quick & easy meals.
9. I love Tuesday nights because all three of us stay home & eat dinner in front of the biggest loser. Oh yes, while they are sweating it all off, we are packing it on...but rooting for them really loudly!
10. Just heard my little cutie asking to "hold you mama" so I better go get him up. Have a great day!

SOOOO nice talking to you today. I'd give anything to do it in person or at least more often. Just glad we get to do it at all. Love you.
