-too many feelings of anxiety which isn't like me at all
At least I recognize it's coming from him and now I just need to work hard at combating it.
2. Yesterday morning as we were getting going, Grayson grabbed one of my knitted beanie caps & put it on his head. He said, "Grayson wears this." Then he looked in the mirror in my room and said, "actually dis ones just for grills! (girls)" So hilarious! When did he learn actually?!
3. Later he was watching Curious George while I worked on books & cash flow sheets. All of a sudden he was laughing so hard and saying, "mr. yellow pants silly!" The man with the yellow hat is apparently now known as Mr. yellow pants around here! (:4. We officially sold the 4-wheeler Saturday to a nice guy from Portland & then paid it off yesterday. Such a relief to have that debt paid off. Now to tackle our student loans!
5. Grayson and I needed to get out of the house after naptime yesterday so we headed to Papa & Nana's for the swingset. It was a deceiving day because it was beautiful & sunny but super cold. Needless to say, we didn't last outside very long...although Grayson would have stayed out swinging & jumping all day, I think!
6. Another great surprise was a visit from Denise and baby McKee! He is two weeks old and adorable. It was so fun to cuddle him and chat with her. She spoiled us for my birthday, the baby, and even gave Gray a "new baby gift" of cars which he loved. She is way too good to us. I miss her much but am glad we get to see each other reasonably often.7. Want an easy {and not very healthy} dinner for tonight? Made it last night & love it even more the next day...
Tator Tot Casserole
*1 lb. hamburger, cooked with fresh or dried onions & salt & pepper
*2 cans cream of mushroom soup
*1 large can evaporated milk
*2 lb. bag tator tots
-Cook hamburger
-In a bowl, combine soup, milk, and cooked meat
-Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 pan
-Top with frozen tator tots
-Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes
-Serve with green beans
8. Biggest Loser was canceled last week and this week for the Olympics. I'm not a fan of that happening. At least Gray gets to bed earlier on Tuesday for two weeks.

10. Zac leaves next week on the morning of my birthday-sad day-for a business conference and will be gone for four days. I hate being away from him, but mostly hope I don't go into labor while he's away. (:

Love your 10 for Tuesdays. I just love glancing in your life. I hear you are #1. I love little Gray. I love that you have things you have to work on (like Coke) because I am addicted to Chocolate. I ate 3 cookies today after saying no more sugar. We're freezing down here too. Thank you SOOOO much for the wonderful talk yesterday. Not wonderful for you but much needed for me. I can honestly say I've kicked up my feet and read a book for the last 2 days. I feel so much better.
I am sorry that you are having one of those times with all those feelings. You can always call me and I promise you that after you get done talking to me you won't feel inadequate anymore. You will realize you have it all together and you are doing just fine.
Glad that you guys were able to pay some of that debt off. So exciting. That is my plan with my tax-return. I would love to think that I can pay off my school loans soon, but it is a ways off!

I was so glad to hear number one and to hear that I wasn't the only one that goes through those kinds of feelings. Grayson is adorable like I always say. I am so glad that the fourwheeler was bought it's funny but it was a relief for me too because I was crossing my fingers for you guys! I agree with you about hating that Biggest Loser is postponed. I don't mind the olympics but for that very reason it frustrates me. If it wouldn't interfere it would be fine.
And I agree I love the ten on tuesday thing. Maybe just Maybe I'll follow suit.
Tator-tot casserole has always been one of my favorite dinners. Unfortunatelt when I was preggo with Ryker that is what I always craved and so we had it a couple times a week. Kefford got so sick of it that I am not allowed to make more then once every 3 or 4 months. Even when I do wait forever to make it he usually has nothing to do with it. Oh well it makes it more special when we don't have it as often!
Your stresses are common in most people I am sure. I know I deal with it all!
Tator Tot Casserole is yummy! Funny story--when Nathan was in high school he joined the cooking class (because there were so many girls in the class) and they had a cooking competition. nathan and his friends made tator tot casserole and whooped all the kids butts! ha!
Karl, goodness, I havn't read blogs for a long time, and I thoroughly enjoyed catching up on yours. LOVE your pregnant picture in the purple shirt, you should be in a magazine! it makes me want to be pregnant again...and of course the valentines picture's of Grayson is adorable...love how he has a simple prop of a heart shaped sucker, SO cute!
LOVE Vanilla coke. I hate that caffeine now keeps me up till 3:00 in the morning no matter how early I drink it :(
