he's on his way...

So we are at the hospital... Around 10:00 pm, I started having a few contractions so I laid on the couch and then slept for an hour. At 11:00 when I woke up to get in bed, I noticed some leakage...and thought that maybe my water had broken. I went to the bathroom and sure enough, it had. So we called my parents & they came over to stay with Grayson since he was sleeping & Zac and my dad gave me a blessing and then we headed out. The roads were super clear & no cars to be found which was nice. I wasn't having any major contractions so we could still talk which was great too. Got here & they checked me...dilated to a 4 & 70% effaced. Not much change. But, because my water had broken, they admitted me. So we're chillin in the room now-it's so nice here. I love both nurses on staff and just got the IV put in which made my blood pressure drop, so I'm laying down typing. The nurse laughed & said I was setting a new precedent for bloggers! (:

Anyway, they'll check me again at 3 & if I haven't progressed, they'll start the pitocin. One of us will keep you updated along the way...or at least within an hour or so of the birth...which is hopefully sooner than later!
