Blessed.

We blessed Beckham yesterday and it was a great day. He has truly been a blessing in our lives and we feel the spirit so closely in our home with him here. It was an especially good day because of the family that we got to spend it with. All of our family members (except Morgan who had prom) were there which was pretty awesome. We just grabbed whoever we could get for a quick picture afterward-several people had to leave early for other meetings & Gray ran up to nursery. And, I didn't get any pics with my family, so those will have to come later. I wasn't really camera oriented all day at all! The meeting was so sweet and Zac's blessing was sincere and heartfelt and I was grateful to be married to such a great man. Some of the things he blessed Beckham with were:
-strength & health
-your body to develop as it should
-to always understand the love the Lord has for you
-to know of your family & extended family's love for you
-to do what's right
-to have courage in the face of adversity
-to do good in all you choose
-to have confidence
-to have strength in learning the gospel
-to do what Heavenly Father would want
-to marry a righteous young woman in the temple for time & eternity
-to set a good example for your family
-to look to your leaders, follow the prophet
-to know of our love for you. to know the Savior's love for you.
-to remember that those you associate with are also children of God. To be patient with them and their needs.

The men who stood in the circle were:
Zac, Grandpa Alan, Grandpa Newell, Great Grandpa Mike, Great Grandpa Farrell, Great Grandpa Bair, Great Uncle Bob, Uncle Lance, Uncle Layne, & Uncle Chris.

Both Zac and I bore our testimonies, along with Zac's dad, Chels & Chris. It was a great meeting. We enjoyed all three hours of church and headed back to my folks for a yummy lunch. It was nice having both families together and I'm grateful for every one's help in making Beckham's day special. We tried taking a {very uncoordinated} family picture before everyone came to eat and with Grayson it's nearly impossible...so these were a few outtakes that led to the best one of the day up top. Oh well-it's where we're at right now, right?!

So I was in awe at what a beautiful family you have. You all looked absolutely wonderful. Then I got to the end and laughed my head off....you are all still so beautiful but I'm always so grateful you let us see your "real" side. So glad Beckham had such a special day. He's so handsome and I can't wait to meet him in person. Wish we could have been there to hear Zac's sweet message to Beckham ourselves. Thanks for sharing the highlights with us. Love ya!

I'm glad it was such a wonderful day. Baby blessings are great events. I really had to smile at the four family shots at the bottom. How true it is! :) You have an absolutely beautiful family.
