The prophet said to plant a garden...

so that's what we did! With lots of help, of course! Lance came over and groundhogged my extremely weedy garden area and then he and Dad set up a cool sprinkler system for it. Mom picked up the plants & seeds for me and Monday night for FHE, Lance & Kelsey and Jaeger came over to help us plant. The babies enjoyed it for a little while and then Doll hung out with them inside the house while the rest of us-Grayson included-finished the planting. He loved it...now if we can just teach him to love weeding! We planted: peas, radishes, pumpkins, strawberries, mixed color peppers, jalapenos, sweet peppers, chile peppers, zuchinni, crookneck squash, cilantro, italian basil & lemon basil. We are excited to love on this garden and then enjoy the fruits & veggies of these labors along with the fruit on our trees! Since you all know how much I excel at yard work {typed with a small amount of sarcasm}, the challenge now will be to keep everything alive!

Yay! I know you have been wanting a garden for awhile now, so excited that you finally get to have it this year! Can't wait to see how it grows. The boys are getting so big and as always are adorable.

What a nice space. I wish we had a space like that for a garden. We have to make garden boxes...they didn't get done this year but they will be ready to go for next year. Until then we will love on Grandma and Grandpa's garden. They like it because I make my kids go weed and help out. HA! What a mean mom.
