Ten {Loves} for Thursday

1. Love this post. I totally want to incorporate several of these things in our marriage and love that we already do many of them.

2. Love that nothing works better to heal an "owie" than my special mommy's kiss. Grayson will hurt himself and say, "Mommy will you kiss it?" In an instant, the world is better & all is well. Wouldn't it be nice if that worked forever?! (:

3. Love that Grayson peed in the big boy potty four times on Tuesday & insisted on wearing big boy undies over his diaper all day. I'm not pushing it at all, but letting him go when he wants to & honestly, the thought of really training just makes me exhausted! 4. Love Gray's crazy imagination. Notice anything about this picture? Yes, that is "papa newell" in the wheel of the tractor-just taking a ride. Such a funny kid! 5. Love that this little boy wants to be just like his daddy. He follows him around on days when he's home or knocks on the door when he's working from home and says, "Daddy will you "pway" with me?" He asked yesterday to wear his {heavy} four wheeler helmet and literally didn't take it off for a few hours!6. Love that Kacie was finally able to get her kidney & that everything turned out okay. Love that the Lord's timing is not ours. Love that Tammy's (Kacie's mom) lesson on Sunday was about prayer & how our prayers are always answered but not always when or how we want them to be. Love that the young man or woman who was killed in a car accident was selfless enough to want their organs donated. Love that more families than one were benefited from that amazing young person this week. Love that the Talbot family has had such an amazing blessing come to their lives this week and that Tammy especially has never let doubt replace her faith. She is a true example to me. Please keep both their family and the donor's family in your prayers.
{On a side note, the Talbots did not expect Kacie to receive a deceased donor's kidney. They had family & friends who were having the extensive pre-surgery testing done all this time and it was just taking a long time. When it ended up being a deceased donor, it made me remember clearly the first time I realized I wanted to be an organ donor. I was a teenager and had heard a story about it recently and went home that day and told my mom I wanted to be a donor because what an amazing thing to be able to give life even in death...and an amazing way to leave a legacy for others who are in such need. She said when I was old enough I could have it put on my license, but I wanted to be sure they remembered in case something happened to me before I got my license, so I took a piece of paper & a marker and wrote, "Please donate my organs if I should die." and signed it with the date. I hung it on our fridge for a long time. Now it's proudly stated on my driver's license. Is it on yours? Love that I'm an organ donor.}

7. Love to color. Who doesn't? Grayson knows where the coloring drawer is and several times this week has gone to it and gotten out his crayons & books and gone to town coloring. Love that he just lays on the kitchen floor and talks to me about what he's coloring while he's doing it. Love that he asks me to take pictures of him when he's doing things like this.8. Lately we have been really Loving this guy & all his music. The past couple nights we've cuddled on the couch and listened to him on Zac's {in his words} epic sounding system. Love good music.

9. Love this sweet photo of my grandma and my Beckham. So grateful we live close and that she gets to love on my kids the way she loved & loves on me.10. Love the magnet quote Amber gave me for my birthday that says, "You are unrepeatable. There is a magic about you that is all your own." Since she gave it to me, I've looked at it each day and said it silently to myself as a mantra of sorts. I believe that it applies to each of us and made my own version {shown below} the other day. I challenge you to say it to yourself-I guarantee you'll start believing it. Happy Thursday!

I'm glad that Beckham has finally been added to your header. :) Gray looks so adorable sitting on his potty. I say train him now! I'm going to update my blog with all of the events of our week. Beckham's two month photos are adorable. It's hard to believe that two months has already passed.
