What we did last week:

For Father's day from the boys, I interviewed Grayson about his daddy. This is how it went-exactly how I asked & how he answered. (Sometimes I had to ask the questions repeatedly since he's so easily distracted!)
Dear Daddy:
Mommy interviewed me about you and here are my answers:
What is daddy's name?...daddy
Where does daddy work?...at cricket stores!
How big is daddy?...hmm...8
What color is his hair?...black
What color is his favorite?...green
What do you love to do with daddy?...play with thomas, build foundations
What does daddy call you?...grayson emilenanko!
What does daddy call baby Beckham?...hickory baldwin!
What do you love about daddy?...Hmmm...oh yeah! I love daddy!
What does daddy do with you?...he tickles me and shares ice cream
What does daddy do with Beckham?...just cuddle & play
What is your favorite thing about daddy?...tractors
Do you love Daddy?...yeah
Why?...because he's so silly!
Happy Father's day to the best daddy these two boys could ask for!
Love, Grayson & Beckham
Grandpa Alan got a gator {in reality the grandkids got a gator} for Father's day and Grayson was in love. Instant adoration! He loved driving it around, but would NOT for anything, watch where he was going! He drove into the flowers, fence, trees, people, etc. He was just too excited to look at us and make sure we were seeing the awesome gator he was seeing! He's since had more practice and is getting better at steering and looking where he's going. Grandpa Alan is so nice to share his toys!
We had a fun impromptu playdate with Courtney & Max, and Danielle & her girls on Wednesday (23rd). We went swimming at Karena's pool. Okay, everyone swam except Grayson. He's SO terrified of water right now. Not loving this stage, but hoping it will get better someday. I'll put him in private swim lessons next summer, and hope I can do some working with him this year. He still had fun sitting on the edge with his feet in and watching fearless Max jumping in the deep end! (: Afterward we went to Court's for a yummy lunch. Grayson loved all Max's toys and especially his big fun backyard! Gray also had his first watermelon of the year-yummy!  No meltdowns until we had to leave (which is a compliment to Courtney & Max, right?!)...Thanks for having us Hansen's!
The boys had some down time together.  Grayson read some books and Beckham watched something on the telly.  I love how he looks kind of disturbed and then his chubby face & sweet hand holding action! {Mom & Dad Pete} gifted us their much-larger-than-our-other-tv television and the boys have loved it for movies.  Heck, me and Zac have loved it too.  We've taken a new liking to the show "Lie to Me" and have been streaming it through netflix onto the new big tv & loving it.  Thanks Mom & Dad!
Grayson has been washing everything outside in his kiddie pool.  Everytime he goes outside he comes back soaked.  The other day he came to the door and said, "Sorry Mommy, I was just baptizing my tractor."  The kid is so dang funny!
We had Miss Madelyn over for a sleepover Friday (25th) and Grayson was in Heaven.  They watched movies, ate ice cream, stayed up late, and played outside.  She is patient and sweet with both boys and so easy to have around.  Grayson just adores her.
Saturday (26th) we went to A&W for lunch and Taylor & Megan, and Lance & Kelsey met us in there.  We played at the park for a while and then finished our fun outing off at the library.  Gotta love busy good Saturdays.  That evening we had some work to do at the stores, so Gray played at Em & Layne's & Bex stayed at Grandma Cleaver's.
We've had fans blowing like crazy the past few days because our air conditioning doesn't work & it's gotten pretty hot really fast!  Might be spending a lot of time at friends & family's houses for a while!  Definitely not complaining about the summer weather though-we love it! Tessa came home from her mission, so we went to her homecoming Sunday (27th).  She did great and it was fun to see her and to show off the boys.  We love that whole family and had lunch their afterward and had fun visiting with them and everyone else who was there.  Took a long nap when we got home and then hung out at Cleaver's while Zac did water.  We pulled out old home videos and watched those which is always fun.
That was our great & busy week in a nutshell!  Now onto another one!

Seriously, your kids can't get any cuter. I just lvoe them and hearing all their stories-like baptizing a tractor? I miss you like crazy. I'm so excited for your health coach adventure. Can't wait to follow it and hopefully join it come December. Love you much!
