December Daily {14th}: A Day Out

This morning my mom came over to wait for the boys to wake up so Zac and I could head to the temple early.  Poor Zac wasn't feeling too great on the way over & ended up hanging out in the waiting room while I did initiatory.  It had been a while since I'd done that & I loved it as usual.  It always helps me re-prioritize after being in the temple and I'm grateful I was able to go, but sad that Zac was feeling so yucky.  We left and met our friends Tony & Brenda for lunch at one of our favorite places, Qdoba's {they have the best Lean & Green meal} and that helped Zac a lot to get a little food in his stomach.  It was so yummy and the conversation was even better.  They are an amazing couple, fantastic listeners, and valued friends.  We are so grateful for the blessing of them in our lives & for their wisdom in our conversations today & always.
We left there and picked up pictures & a couple other necessities at Costco, made 2 other quick stops, visited a client for a minute, and then stopped at my folks to get our babies.  They are so cute!  They love being with their grandparents {either set} and had a great time.  Grayson excitedly told me about visiting Grandpa Popeye and seeing the train that goes around his tree & then he said, "We gotta new sink!"  I didn't understand at first & then realized what he meant.  Our sink at home has been broken for a long time in the kitchen {the handle on the faucet comes off} but we hadn't changed it because it was convenient to just take it off & hide it when I didn't want Grayson playing in or turning on the water.  My cute dad however, couldn't take it anymore apparently, and replaced it.  Grayson told me he did it & then said Grandpa Alan helped him.  They are great "fix-it helpers" according to him.  We really appreciate all the help Mom & Dad Pete gave us today.  Thanks again guys!
We came home and got ready for the Biggest Loser finale-we haven't watched the show as religiously this season, but enough to kind of know the finalists & were excited to watch it.  We ended up mostly laughing & talking with Grayson throughout.  He moved the sumo over by the couch & jumped on it a bunch of times.  He also kept saying, "You know Aunt Taylor's wife?  Talon?"  Haha!  He cracks us up.  Beckham was wanting to be held, but I was getting Gray to bed & then tidying up, so I guess he grew tired of waiting for me & I found him like this.  So cute!  He did wake up for a bottle and then fell asleep again cuddled up next to Zac.  He is seriously adorable. (:
