December Daily {29th}: Stuck in the Snow

We planned on going home today, but it was still snowing like crazy, so we decided to stay another night.  Yay!  We just chilled today.  I started a new puzzle, the guys went to town to get some supplies & run a couple errands, and I did some work on the computer.  Zac wanted to get away for a few minutes together, so we went down to tour another house on the lake.  The owner, Joe, took us through the beautiful home and we went to leave.  He got stuck in his pickup in the snow & we couldn't get out till he did because he was blocking the way.  Zac got out to help him try & get un-stuck and I entertained myself by taking pictures of myself...what else? (:

Finally, Dad had to come down and help pull him out with his pickup and what was meant to be a quick 20 minute getaway took about an hour!  Oh well, it was fun anyway.  Mom made her famous {and all our favorite} chicken/veggie/pasta casserole & cornbread and it was all delicious.  We watched "Nanny McPhee Returns" {not our favorite, but cute for kids} and then tv after the boys went to bed for a while.  Good times in one of our favorite places with some of our favorite people.
