May 24th {previous week coming later}

This morning me and the boys said goodbye to Zac bright & early and loaded into Grami Tami's car with her and Doll.  We started the trek to Utah.  The boys were incredibly good-like really, really good-which was such a relief.  The drive took about 7 hours with 2 stops for potty breaks/food/gas.  Totally impressed with the boys and the trip was fun to chat with mom and enjoy the scenery...
We pulled into the Miner's place around 2:30 and were greeted with excitement {mostly toward the boys} by Abby & Sadie and Sandi.  They moved into a beautiful new home recently, so I got the whole tour & loved every bit of it.  We just chilled for a while & some of us napped which we hung out.  I totally love this family and love that I always feel completely comfortable & loved in their home.  Visited with all the kids and Gary as they came in & out for various things.  The boys loved the dogs and I was so impressed with how gentle they were with my kids.  Made me want a dog...who's about 8 or 9 and past the puppy stage.  We settled in for the night with dinner & to watch The Biggest Loser finale.  I totally loved it and was so impressed by Hannah and Olivia's transformations.  So inspiring! Abby & Sadie are AMAZING with my boys.  They seem to never tire of them, are totally loving and patient, and play with them the entire time.  I literally didn't see Grayson the whole day.  He ate up the attention and they are older enough than him {and totally dote on him} that he doesn't even whine, which is wonderful.  Beckham just loves everyone & having stairs to climb up & down and a fireplace to keep crawling up on, just to get pulled back down.  Logan is now a high school graduate, Doll is now a SENIOR, and I have a dang cute mom.  (: We hung out for a while after that, Beckham went to bed in Logan's closet around 9:45 and Grayson and I headed down to bed about an hour later.  Grayson was practically perfect all day and threw a tiny fit upon having to go to bed.  He settled down quickly and I laid him on his floor bed & said prayers with him.  Within one minute he was out for the count.  Beckham didn't have a great night which was a bummer, but it's always hard being away from home and he is honestly about the happiest kid I've ever seen when he's awake-a good night's sleep or not-so I cut him some slack. (:

So nice to have those that can easily entertain your kiddos! Sounds like you guys had a nice time, and what a beautiful home! I loved all of the pictures. I read about your visit to Candace's house on her blog, and loved all of the cute pictures of your boys with her kiddos. I'm excited to see more on your blog later.
