-Memorial day. So grateful for those who have & do serve our great country. So blessed to live in America. A beautiful sunny day too, which was perfect.
-Boys at Taylor's from 9-2; mad catching up with clients, on work stuff, and returning calls/emails {uber productive!}
-BBQ at Grandma Marge & Grandpa Farrell's house. Bob & fam and our Peterson fam was there and it was a great time, as usual. Zac was working so we missed him, but the boys loved playing with the kids who were there & of course T&T. I love the start of barbecue season and the being outside fun to be had.
Tuesday {31st}
-Grayson had his first dentist appointment {detailed in a separate post coming after this one}
-Worked on payroll with Zac
-Played with the boys & enjoyed the sun
-LAUNCHED MY NEW WEBSITE! I am totally excited about this! The new site is called Health Confessions and I'm excited for new possibilities and thankful to the awesome peeps who helped me get it designed, ready, etc. {Amber, Kelsey, Pro 119 Marketing, Zac} Please visit, give it some love, and spread the word!
Wednesday {1st}
-Started the Amber Fischer Photography 30 Day Photo Challenge today. Pretty sure it will be done strictly with my phone since that is my camera of choice lately, but I'm good with that. Today's challenge was ME and here is the pic I chose. I spend lots of time here right now in my life, my google calendar keeps me scheduled/routined/sane, and I am a major list maker so there are lists all over.
-My laundry room is a catch-all right now. And for once in my life I'm alright with it. Not really, but as alright with it as I can be. I realized to do some of the things I wanted {launch my website, serve & play with my kids & husband, and have some me time, I had to let something go. My OCD was the thing and it's been great. It won't be gone for long because Zac and I are both getting anxious to tackle the "table in the laundry room," but it's a sign of growth for me. Thanks to Brenda for suggesting it. I love that boy in his undies!
-Grayson and I made shrinky dinks! Does anyone remember those? I loved them as a kid and he loved them too. They totally didn't disappoint...except that a couple of them shrunk kind of wonky, but he didn't care!

-Grayson got to chill with Taylor in the afternoon for a while and I got some stuff done while Beckham napped.
-T&T invited us, L&K, and T's folks & cousin over for dinner. She made yummy tacos and it was super sweet of her to include us and our crazies. The kiddos & grandparents watched "Despicable Me" till we left. Fun times with the Vicker's crew.
Thursday {2nd}
-Grayson and Beckham played at Grandma Linda's while I got my hair colored. I used the hair color picture for my AFP photo challenge day #2: YELLOW. When I got back to pick them up after running a couple errands, Grandma said they were good, but Grayson had called her mean 3 times and pushed Beckham over a few times. I reprimanded him, let her know we've been working on this, and laughed to myself as we left. Oh Grayson. What to do with him? (: I figure he's good 90% of the time, he deserves little daily breakdowns!
-My sweet Aunt Laurie sent this play toolbox that was her boys up for my boys. Grayson was ECSTATIC, to say the least. He played with it for about 3 hours straight the first day and has since been a toolman daily. I love it. I love having such thoughtful people in my children's lives.
Friday {3rd}
Friday {3rd}
-Amber & girls came over for a playdate this morning. Always a good time and Grayson is generally pretty good with Ella. They had fun & we enjoyed chatting and catching up. I also enjoyed holding onto Wren and putting her to sleep. She is my AFP photo challenge day #3: SWEET.
-Zac and I went to the Tom Houston memorial golf tournament/dinner to eat and support Becca and the kiddos, and I didn't realize it was a family friendly event, so I'd asked Jocey Hartley to babysit. Z & I had fun together-it's always nice to get out as adults and really talk. Becca looked good and it seemed like she had a great turnout. Got home and Jocey is super cute and the boys loved her. She was only there 2 hours, so I think that was a good breaking her in time amount. I'm not sure what she thought as she didn't really elaborate when I asked, but the boys liked her and my house was clean, the boys were in jammies watching a movie, and Grayson has asked several times for her to come back We'll see if she ever does. (:

-Zac took Grayson on a picnic to the farm-he LOVED it and they had a great time. They also made a stop to see T&T where Grayson rode on their fun horse swing.
-T&T and L&K invited me and Z to sushi and mom and dad offered to watch the boys. They had Jaeger too, so Gray was excited to play with him. We ate yummy food, laughed a lot, and are grateful we get along with our sibs so well. Sure makes life easier when your siblings are your friends, too! Ran an errand at Walmart, picked up the boys, and came home to bed.

Miscellaneous:
-Zac and Todd have been having little xbox date nights every other night or so and Amber and I are totally cracking up. I love that they are such great friends though. Todd is good for Zac and vice versa. I just sit on the couch by him with my laptop and blog, work on website or client stuff, read books, or browse pinterest. It's been fun. Talon and Lance play with them sometimes too, which Z loves. I think his giddy kid laugh is so funny & love when he is able to relax at the end of his stressful days.
-Called Jocey to see if she'd come back & babysit on Saturday and she kind of hedged the question, asked me to hold on, and came back and said she had too much going on. I was mortified because although I know she's a super busy kid and I'm sure she did have too much going on {and I admittedly shouldn't have called her for the very next day}, I immediately thought she probably hates my kids and had asked for a reason not to babysit. I can totally remember doing that when I was her age-asking my mom for an excuse not to go. So then I proceeded to ask Zac what & how we should parent/discipline our kids. Zac was laughing and told me that if Gray saying someone was mean or pushing Beckham around was the worst he did when he had sitters, we'd be doing good. Most of that is normal 3 year old behavior, especially if showing off for a new person. And, he pointed out that the sitters we've had so far have been 12 & 13. They may not feel super comfortable disciplining Grayson yet. Hmm.. And then he ended by saying that if none of the babysitters we try want to come back, we'll just get through the next few years and have Grayson babysit for us eventually. Haha!
-All in all it was a good week-they are literally flying by. I can't believe it's June!

Loved catching up on this week of your life. Love the photo challenge you are doing. I read about Gray's dentist appt on your Confession blog and laughed/cried with you. I love ya and glad you had such a great week.
I seriously thought the picture of Wren was Beckham! They look a lot a like from that angle!
