She picked him up and they went to town. Literally & figuratively. She stocked that boy up on long sleeve shirts {which he was majorly lacking} and other fun stuff. He loved it and was so good that he got to go back to her house to play for a few hours afterward. His favorite part! She even made homemade chocolate chip cookie dough and he got to enjoy it. I seriously heard "Grami made me yummy cookie dough and it was delicious" about thirty seven times when he got home. Mom said he thanked her about a thousand times, too. I'm glad he got to go have that fun time with Grami by himself. I remember loving school shopping and the thrill it was to have a trip to town all by yourself. He is a great kid growing up too quickly!

So cute! Tell Grami Tami she can come take my boy (or me) shopping anytime if it ends up in cookies.
He really was good to tag along. I even took him into the quilt shop and he was perfect (unlike his mom who used to start screaming in the car if I even started to slow down outside a fabric store...haha!) And I think his new nickname should be, "Cookie Monster", too!
