Christmas Eve day was surprisingly relaxed. We spent the whole day at home working on various projects, but I was done with all the wrapping, delivering, etc., so we spent time just chilling together. Bex took a great nap and we all rested & read. That evening we headed to Pete's place to chill there. L&K were in Rigby, and T&T were with Talon's family till later, so it was the folks, Doll, us, Gaylen, Jeanie, & Whitney Spear, and Matt & Jen. We are glad Matt & Jen could come again and that they feel so comfortable hanging out with our family. We're adopting them. (:
We ate yummy taco soup, veggie pizza, and visited. Jen was amazed at Mom's quilts & kept asking tons of questions. She kept commenting how crafty/creative/talented mom is & I have to agree. After a while we played Four on the Couch & Psychiatrist. So fun! T&T joined us toward the end of the evening. The boys were really really good, especially considering there weren't any other kiddos for them to play with & they didn't receive a ton of attention. They did however attach themselves quite quickly to Whitney who was sweet & read to them for a while. We all had a great time!
After we exchanged gifts with M&J and everyone left, the rest of us headed downstairs for Christmas Eve jammies! Mom is so sweet to do that & her efforts never go unnoticed. She is so great at being in tune with our individual likes, too. Zac got some great BSU sweats/tshirt, I got a great set from Downeast, and the boys were in Heaven with their jammies {lego star wars for Gray & Darth Vader for Beckham}. Beckham about went crazy with excitement-so sweet! They both thanked them over & over, gave hugs, and were so grateful. They immediately stripped & got dressed in their jammies and Grayson was so excited he kept saying, "Mom & Dad, put yours on now!" Zac obliged, but I waited till we got home. We had a great time & are-as always-thankful we live so close at this point in our lives & can be with our family so often.
After getting the boys to bed-only took 20 minutes & they were out-we set out Christmas, enjoyed the soft & serene look of the evening, and cuddled to a show. Got to bed way too late, but the magical night of Christmas Eve only happens once a year...totally worth it.

I loved reading about your December fun! The "Ugly Sweater Party" sounded so awesome. Even in an ugly sweater you look beautiful! Grayson and Beckham just keep getting cuter and cuter. I'm sure Christmas was a lot of fun with them this year. I hope you have a wonderful 2012!
The part in Santa's letter about watching his figure made me laugh out loud. He must have known that a health coach lived in the house. :) Your house looked serene and made me miss Christmas already. Glad you had such a wonderdul day/night. Even more excited you are catching up on your blog. Jhett picked a card for Grayson today. he loved it almost as much as I think Gray will. Only thing is I think Gray will get abougt 15 of them. Love ya much.
