more random stuff

The boys LOVE getting to play at Aunt Taylor's two days a week.  Mostly because they get to do cool stuff like bowl in her kitchen, listen to uncle Talon's nice headphone speakers, make & eat lots of frosted treats, and be super silly.  She is SO good with them and I'm so thankful that we can pay her to watch them because we know they are in SUCH capable & loving hands.  She loves them & disciplines them just like we do.
Grayson started Sunbeams!  I can't believe it!  Poor kid was sick most the month, so has only been twice {15th & the 29th}, but he was adorable both times.  The first time I was sitting in the back & he didn't know I was in there.  He sat by his teacher, Randy, the entire sharing time/singing time with his hands clasped in his lap & looked at the teacher & didn't say a word or move a muscle!  Haha!  His shy/obedient side definitely comes out in public situations.  He was adorable.  Sister Johnston passed out pieces of paper & was having their teachers or the kids read them & then asking what Jesus would do.  Grayson's slip said, "You're playing with a friend & your little brother wants to join in.  Do you let him?"  Grayson was super quiet and thinking and I didn't think he was going to say anything and then he said, "Well...we have a lot of toys in our living room."  Meaning, Bex could just go out there & play while me & my friend play in my room!  Haha!  Love his honesty.  He also got to go up to the front & get his birthday treat while they sang to him which he wasn't sure about, but he stood there so cute & then went right back to his seat.  He LOVE his teachers {Randy Bowns & Kory Hansen}, and loves the class part & his friends in class.  He is growing up!
After church on the 15th we put Bex down for his nap & both Zac and I fell asleep on the couch.  Grayson was quietly playing games on my phone & unbeknownst to us, took this picture of his parents passed out.  He is becoming quite the little iphone photographer & we have hundreds of pictures he's taken.  I'll do a post with them sometime soon.
We went to G&G Pete's the night of the 15th for dinner and good company.  Jaeger & Beckham were giving Grandpa Alan a run for his money on the wrestling front.  They were so adorable & had a great time being tickled & tackled.  They are all pretty cute, if you ask me!
New toybox!  Yay!  I put it almost all together & then Zac finished it off-it's HUGE & sturdy.
One of our only two snowfalls this year.  Not enough to do anything with, but it was pretty while it lasted!  The boys were sad we didn't make a snowman & it melted within a few hours & then rained & rained.  We need the moisture, so I'm not complaining.
 Cute boy!
Taylor & Talon had the unfortunate luck of having their house broken into.  NOT cool.  Whoever it was stole her wedding ring & her new diamond earrings from Christmas.  She has been a bit nervous to stay home alone {who wouldn't be?} and spends the evenings at our house when Talon is at school sometimes.  One night we watched the Justin Bieber movie.  Surprisingly good.  The kid had definitely got talent.
We LOVE skyping with our Fischer's!
I chopped a TON of hair off.  I guess it would be classified as a medium length hairstyle, but it feels SHORT.  Like super short.  I'm still adjusting, but like it okay.  It grows fast, too. (:
Much lego building, block tower building, and star wars playing going on in this house.  We may or may not have two slightly obsessed children.  One more than the other {Beckham}.
Kelle Hampton writes a great blog & had this quote with a picture of her darling little Nella the other day.  The quote really hit me as I was dealing with sick kids & I remembered how much I do love them...in sick or health.
Gray & Ella only skype date.  One word: adorable.
Lots of eating in this household, with medicine routines in the evening.  Both boys are champs.  We broke down & ordered a couple more carseats so we can always keep one in Taylor's car & have one to move back & forth as needed.  Gray looks so big in his bigger booster.  He loves it.
Lots of playing together.  In the crib, on the bike {in the kitchen or an empty garage}, movie watching, and "ramen noodle making."  Sure love these little men.
We had Spencer & Stephanie over for dinner on the 28th which was so fun.  It had been TOO long since we'd visited with them and it's just awesome to see how happy Spencer is.  They are a great couple and were totally smitten with the kids.  The boys felt the same way especially because Stephanie willingly read them books before bed.  A fun night!

Your boys are absolutely darling. It always seems like so much is going on in your life. I LOVE your new haircut. I also loved the pic of you and Z sleeping. JHett is quite the photographer also in our home. Scary sometimes. The other day I fell asleep reading him books and he videoed me. It was really embarrassing to hear him asking over and over again if I would wake up and help him. Haha! I didnt' realize Gray just joine Sunbeams. How fun for him and even better for you to witness him in there.

I, too, love the picture that Gray took of you two sleeping! What a scream! And I have to say, my heart melted a little when I saw him come into Primary the first time. And yesterday, I told him to look for me in the back and when he came in and saw me, he just kept waving and was so cute about it. Can't believe he's already a Sunbeam. Crazy.
And I LOVE the pic of the boys in the crib surrounded by all those toys...it's perfect.
