march. week two.

March eleventh:
Spent the time before church watching picture slideshows on the tv screen set to music.  This can seriously keep the boys busy for hours at a time dancing & laughing, so we LOVE it.  Fun memories, too!
We had a HUGE dust storm this day and it was crazy!  We drove to my folks for lunch & just sat in the car for a few minutes not wanting to get out in it.  We eventually did and just ran for it, but still got dust in our hair/eyes/mouths, etc.  YUCK!  Everyone had major dirt piles in their doors & windows.
Everyone took a nap there & our boys were still awake-of course-so we ended up leaving and coming home.  Gray dressed up as Superman in the outfit Wendy made.  He looked adorable & we had a great evening together.

March thirteenth:
Sometimes he just wants the sugar eggs out of the dino oatmeal.  And I give them to him.  Because I'm that kind of mom.
We all love Grami and the boys really love her cool ipad, too.

March fourteenth:
Today was green day at Preschool.  Grayson was ecstatic because green & orange are his favorite colors.  He dressed in green & took yellow cookies with green sprinkles {Lofthouse brand sugar cookies are his all time favorite food}.
Taylor took Bex with her to take Talon lunch.  He got to sit in the front seat while they waited at the school.  I hosted my first weekly Client Support/Habits of Health night in Nyssa.  Zac took Bex to Dr. Matt for a croup shot because he was getting it again.  Poor baby.  Zac is the best to do that for me & is always willing to be so helpful with the kiddos.  Thankful.
Gray stayed at Taylor's with two of my clients girls {4 girls & him}, so he was happy with friends.  Z & Bex met us there after the appointment & meeting for eats.  Before bedtime, Gray taught us to play bug in a rug & loved it.

March fifteenth:
I ran to the doctor.  Allergies.  Claritin & Sudafed each night for me.

Boys at Taylor's.  They love her.  And apparently Grayson makes horses out of playdoh that are pooping.  Oh yes, he narrated it for Taylor.  Vivid imagination, that kid.
Visited with Becca for a bit today.  Love her.  Picked up the kiddos at T&T's, took aunt Alison's birthday gift to her and the boys played while I visited with Bob for a rare one on one talk.  It was nice catching up with him and telling him about the business.  We value his opinion highly, and he was a great listener-even ignored his phone for me.  That's a big deal to me. (:  Alison got home for a hug before we left.  Grayson said, "Why don't you just leave me here to play for an hour & come get me?"  Bob said, "If we weren't headed to the McCall house right now, we'd take you up on that, buddy."  Without skipping a beat Grayson said, "I could just go there with you!"  Haha!  He LOVES that place.
Spent the evening as a family just winding down.  Reading books together, playing blocks, scriptures, and then cuddling.  Love our routine.  Taking advantage of this pace of life whenever we can.

March sixteenth:
Grayson & Zac had an anticipated date tonight.  They went-along with Talon, Bailey, Lance & Jaeger-to the Monster Truck Jam!  They were excited.  Zac wanted to take Bex too, but I didn't think he'd keep the earplugs/headphones on, so he stayed with me and Aunt Taylor.   The boys had a GREAT time and would definitely do it again.  Grayson's favorite was the green truck.  {and being anywhere with Jaeger along is pretty high up in his book}.  It went a little longer than a 4 year old attention's span, but it was a great experience, anyway.  So glad they could have a fun guys night out.  Us girls & Beckham got ice cream, ate dinner, and watched a couple shows on Hulu after Bex went to bed, and the boys got home late.  When I went to put Beckham's jammies on, he insisted on wearing undies + pirate gear.  He cracks us up!  He has such a silly personality and is such a lovable kid.
When they did & Gray was in bed asleep, Zac and I stayed up for a while {we are awful about this}.  I thought he looked totally hot and he was appalled that I took this picture, but I love it.  {something about that blur/sideways hat/darth vader shirt/look that says do not take a picture of me} I love him.  He is absolutely perfect for me in every way and I just really really like him.

March seventeenth:
Taylor & my mom made the boys some cute little St. Patrick's day treats.  It's a good thing, because their parents were totally not into this holiday this year.  What can I say, we're slackers.  Thankfully, they didn't seem to notice or care.
Today the boys got to spend time with Grandma Wendy for a while.  Zac and I went to a Celebration of Health in Boise for Take Shape for Life.  I'd invited clients & others and it was a great event.  They had a drawing for a trip to Hawaii {coaches excluded-darn!}, and some amazing speakers, including Joan Endicott, a motivational speaker who wrote "I Get To."  Her presentation reminded me of some vital things I needed right now.  Some of my favorites:
-We are more blessed than we ever recognize or realize {my second reminder in a month of this fact}
-What steals our perspective?  If we can't fix it, change it, or control it, we GET TO let it go.
-3PA: Positive Attitude, Positive Action, Positive Accountability
-Our thoughts become our actions, our actions become our habits, our habits become our behavior
-Do not take counsel of your fears, naysayers, or the unknown {Coach Pete}
-Don't believe everything you think
-1. Evaluate thoughts: are they healthy?
     -2. Reset your mindset
     -3. Train your brain
-Value and honor people as if it's the last time you may see them
-We have power through our words & actions to set the emotional temperature
-I get to be healthy, I get to eat well, I get to exercise.  Rather than I have to.
-We can only do what we can do.
-Faithful to you, story.
-It's vitally important to give our love, to show it, to say it, to our loved ones.  I get to. Love is a decision.
-Today you have 100% of your life left.  Look forward with excitement, make it whatever you choose to!
The boys were a bit tired at Grandma's, so T&T went to the rescue and picked them up.  They took them to their house til we grabbed them.  Thankful for the family who is always willing to help with our littles.

I may be stalking you in hopes of getting caught up in your life. It's working. LOVE that the boys went to the Monster Jam and were kind enough to take thei little boys. You're family is just amazing how they all work together. Love it!
