Winston

Our newest nephew, Winston Walker Peterson, was born May 9th!  He was an early early May 9th baby {in the 12 am hour}. Kelsey wasn't due til May 17th, so this was a very fun surprise!  She had a great labor & delivery {quick, too}, and baby Winston is an absolute doll.  We are so excited to have another little boy in the mix of kiddos running around and look forward to the relationship they will all share and seeing the personality of this newest baby emerge.  {He weighed almost 9 pounds and is darling!}  Congratulations Lance, Kelsey, and Jaeger!
We've had a few opportunities to love on the little man so far.  We kept Jaeger overnight when they went to the hospital {he was so wiped out he fell asleep at 7:30!} so I took the boys over {Bex rode with Grami and Tay Tay} Wednesday morning when he was just about 10 hours old.  He was so cute & looked so much like Lance to me.  It's so fun to see your siblings have kids and to instantly love them because you love their parents so much.
Beckham wasn't a fan of the hospital, but wanted to cuddle up with Kelsey {adorable} and play on my iphone, which gave me a chance to cuddle baby Win.
The next time I saw him was when we had a fun family BBQ on Saturday the 12th.  T&T had a bunch of carne asada left over from a Vicker's family BBQ at their house & they were kind enough to share with the Peterson crew.  L&K hosted since they have a new baby.  So, I got to hold him again there for a bit.  Still cute. (:  The boys loved the BBQ and the food was seriously amazing.  That meat was DELICIOUS!  After we ate I practiced playing tball with Grayson for 20 minutes or so.  He can bat super well & really knocks the ball out {it's a play set}, but gets confused on the running bases, catching, getting people out, etc.  He's his parents kid, that's for sure.  Neither of us were big ball players.  Let's face it, the only thing I looked forward to when I was paying tball was the treat we'd get afterward, so I can't really blame the kid.
Monday the 14th, while Grayson was at preschool, Beckham and I snuck over to Kelsey's to get a little Winston fix.  Bex played with Jaeger and I loved on the baby.  He is SO CUTE!  Kelsey looks great already and is a good mommy.  We stayed about 40 minutes and headed out so Bex could nap.  We sure love our new Winston baby!

He is SO cute. I was going to say he didn't look much like a newborn but almost 9 lbs will do that. I'm really looking forward to seeing more pics come. Congrats to Lance and Kelsey.
