Hmm..

Yesterday Gray and I stayed home again because we're both still congested and I mostly didn't want him around the other kids who might be sick at church to get him more sick! Selfish, I know, but I try to keep him home if he's at risk of getting other kids sick and it was nice to just rest & cuddle with him. We read books, talked about Jesus, read scriptures and took a nap.

After church we headed to Todd & Amber's because she took my pregnancy pics for me. the guys watched the kids and Gray loves playing with Ella's toys. The guys watched the football game more than the kids, I'm sure! (: If you are close enough to have Amber take your pictures and have just been contemplating it...go for it! She is so much fun and SO complimentary, so she'll totally make you feel the best ever. She did a great job with the pics and knows I'll do anything crazy or weird that she asks or recommends so it was a fun {albeit a little cold!} shoot. I'm excited to see all the pics when she's done. When we got back, we made taco soup and visited some more before coming home. Love that family.

Today (and throughout this past weekend) I have been totally nesting. I'm a little more anxious and emotional this pregnancy-which Julie told me is normal so I'm not too freaked out about it-and just nervous about having the boys in the same room, having enough room, getting stuff out of my house, etc. So, Zac is such a great sport and helped me all day Saturday cleaning, de-cluttering, making piles of stuff to sale & give away, throw away, etc. We got a lot done, but this morning I had even more plans. I totally tackled Gray's closet & toys and it felt great. I moved the crib up for baby, washed the bedding, put in the bumpers, and just felt a little more accomplished. This pregnancy has been so different knowing we're expecting another little boy and not having so much to do to get ready for him...so it's been nice doing a few baby things the past few days. Speaking of which we are still totally undecided on a name. But, my two boys at home have ganged up against me and are calling baby boy "Hickory Baldwin" or as Gray says it, "Hickey Balwin." Hmmm...Grandpa Cleaver sure has funny dreams!

Well, I'm off to nap while Gray naps. Have a great day!

I'm excited to see your pregnancy pictures. Amber always does so good on your photos. I'm sure even the manual/unedited one she took of you was beautiful. :) It does feel so good to dejunk and get things ready for a baby to arrive. You're really getting so close. I can't wait to see pictures of this new little man. Thanks for sharing the fondant recipe. Gray's cake was seriously adorable, and I'm all for fondant that actually tastes good! See you in a few days. I'll call you probably on Wednesday to finalize our plans. I can't wait!

I saw the sneak peak picture on Amber's blog. Super cute. Can't wait to see the rest.
I have a few projects over here that you could tackle for me if you are in that nesting stage still ;) Hope that you guys are doing well. Today is a crazy day so I will give you a call tomorrow afternoon. Love you.

I love the preggo pic amber has of you on her blog..its really cute. I kinda wish though that you would have been reading a book in the picture. How cute would it have been to have you laying in the middle of the sidewalk reading a book? And if anyone commented to you during the shoot you could have been all sassy saying "what? I am pregnant and i like to read. don't be a hater". Oh it plays out so fun in my head! Ok lova ya Karli have a great day!

I can't wait to see your pictures. Everything always works out. I felt anxious too before Joshy came along. I couldn't imagine having 2 kids with Kira being so young but it all worked out.
I'm here when you need to talk
Love you!
