I have my blog books printed for 2006 & 2007 and love them. I wish I'd known then what I know now about the process and done them a little more classic looking so they'd match anything, but I didn't...and I can't re-do them because I erased the data from my blog and when our computer crashed last year, I lost the saved files on our hard-drive. So I'm stuck with what I have & still love them. I finally got 2008 & 2009 uploaded and arranged in books how I want them and then just ordered 2008 first. Because they are kind of spendy, I'm just getting that one now and possibly asking for 2009 to be printed for my birthday or something. I'm so excited to get them! I wish I'd known about blogging back in 2003 when we first got married because I would have kept a better journal through those first couple years and had those made into books too.
Wednesday Grayson took a great three hour nap . After a week of no naps to very restless & short naps, that was awesome. I got a nap and some other things done I wanted to do. My mom picked up some milk & a couple other things for me the other day and when she brought it over, she also brought three TV dinners for Grayson. Because he hasn't been eating hardly anything since he's been sick, I thought I'd try one and see if he liked that for lunch. We did chicken nuggets/fries/corn/pudding & he loved it. The nuggets & fries were a big hit and he looked so cute eating it. Not a fan of the pudding, but I'm not a fan of it when it's hot either.

A few people have asked about the fondant recipe for the birthday cake, so I thought I'd post it here. I thought it was delicious and if you like marshmallows, you're bound to like it too. And, even after a day sitting out, it tasted good...Yum!
the easiest & probably best tasting fondant recipe:
1 (2 lb.) bag powdered sugar
1 (10oz.) bag of mini marshmallows
2 Tbsp. water
crisco
*put marshmallows & water in a large microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals until the marshmallows are smooth with no lumps. (stir between each microwave session-took me 3 sessions)
*then gradually add powdered sugar. once it is workable (not super sticky, pour it onto the remaining powdered sugar. (you may want to grease your counter top & hands with crisco to prevent sticking.) knead it until it is the consistency you want. you'll end up using most of, but not all of the powdered sugar. Delicious!Thursday I had an OB appointment and Gray stayed with Nana. The appointment went well and things are just going along great. I'm 31 weeks today, so looking forward to these last few weeks of getting things done & welcoming friends babies into the world before ours makes his arrival! (: Got some errands done too which was nice.
Friday we hung out with Amber & Ella for a little while after running a couple O-town errands. They love each other and are pretty cute together. Amber used me {lovely as I was} to model for a few shots for a photography class she's taking. They had to be completely manual and unedited-straight out of the camera. I told her, "That will teach me to go somewhere without getting ready for the day first!" I must love her a lot! (: We hung out at Cleaver's last night for a while and it was fun chatting with Chels for a while too.
Today we have been deep cleaning and enjoying having Zac here for the day. McCall came over to help with Gray so we could get even more done-she was a lifesaver! I gave a bunch of scrapbook stuff away to my friend Jess and got some books at the library which is always a great feeling, and we are celebrating Chelsey's birthday tonight. And, I got my 08 blog book in the mail much quicker than I'd expected which totally made my day. I love setting it on the shelf with it's two predecessors & knowing there will be more as long as I keep up with my journaling and taking pictures!

We are also doing the toddler bed transition right now and so far, so good. I'm keeping a more detailed account that I'll post later just for remembrance after we've been doing it for a good few nights/naps. He looks so big & cute in it though-he's growing too quickly! And, the medicine battle is over. After being held down for those first two doses, he's decided it's better & much easier to just take it and willingly comes into the kitchen, takes it all in about a second and smiles & runs away! Yay! Megan sweetly called & suggested hiding it in chocolate milk though and next time we have a problem with it, I will definitely try that! Glad that for now he's cooperating and seems to be feeling much better.

Glad things are going well. Gray looks so big in his bed. I love it! Wish I would have been consistent with blurb books. I could choose to go back and do 08 & 09 but I think I"ll just start with 10. Love ya!
So glad that Gray is feeling better, he looks so cute in his big toddler bed. My 2009 book is still a work in progress. I wish I had started sooner as well. I really don't remember a lot of the things we did before children. Before blogging, I wasn't good at writing things down. Love the blog books. The girls even love looking at them, it's cute! Love you!
I wish i would have known about blogging all through my daqting and early marraige also. It bugs me that I didn't keep a journal through those important years.
