So I talked to Karli today and she is sick sick sick. Sad, right? I think so.
I decided that maybe we can help cheer her up and hopefully get her feeling better with a little laughter love! I decided to share a card I wrote her back when we were probably 12 or 13. It gave me a good laugh when I read it.
(Are you wondering how I was able to read a card I wrote Karli back when we were 12? It's because Karli kept every.single.note that I EVER gave her in a notebook. I borrowed the notebook recently and have been cracking up because I was SUCH A DORK.)
Anyway. The card. Aaaa-hem.

Thanks so much for going to McCall with me! I can't believe what a bad day it was. Gosh, we only spent an hour looking for a bathroom, and then I soaked my socks and shoes, and you practically crippled your leg. At least we could laugh about it! ( : You have to admit that The Galaxy was a groovy restaurant. I can't believe our waitress was so ditsy! It was pretty fun. Thanks for being such a great best friend, and for sharing all my good AND bad times! I appreciate you muchly, and I hope you enjoyed the few ice sculptures we saw! Here's a couple of chocolates that my parents got for you at the Chocolate Factory in McCall to remind you of our great mini-trip! :P
Love Ya- Amber
p.s. Hope your leg gets feeling better!
*Something to remember: In a couple of years we will go to The Galaxy before a Sadie Hawkin's dance, even if we are not best buds. (Which is highly unlikely!) ( : I'm looking forward to it!

I'm sure Karli remember this day trip to McCall. We literally saw like three ice sculptures because we spent the ENTIRE day looking for a bathroom. And, of course, while we were walking around the whole town of McCall, I managed to get my pants and shoes/socks completely soaked (I hate that feeling) and then Karli tripped or something and almost broke her leg. Yeah, it sucked. But you know what? I LOVE that memory. It makes me laugh now.
What's a memory you have with Karli that makes you laugh?

Hey, this is McCall, I remember when i was really little Karli would sit on the floor with me and she would say, "McCall, I'm gonna EAT you!!" and I would just SCREAM!!!!
I also remember this one time, Amber, Megan, Karli, and I were supposed to go to a concert but she was sick then too. So, we went to McDonalds and Amber made me order in my funny voice!! :) I love you guys!!
And Karl, FEEL BETTER!!
I don't know if I have a super funny story. I love any time that I get to spend with Karli. One of my favorites was when we went to McCall a few winters ago and went sledding! Love you and hope you feel better!
Karli talks in her sleep. When we were roomates at BYUI, (it was one of my favorite years)I remember Liz, who shared a room with Karli came out to the living room and told us to come listen. Liz, Jen and I stood by the door of their bedroom and listen to Karli say the funniest things and we were laughing so hard but trying to be quite because we didn't want to wake her. She was such a good sport when we told her about it later.
Zac, does she still talk in her sleep?
Love ya Karli
I am tempted to give Amber my login! haha she is such a good friend. I remember many times laughing with Karli but I'm not sure I remember the stories right or will tell them right but a memory I have a Karli that I will never forget for some reason is when Lance and I were first married and I wasn't SUPER comfortable around the family. Karli invited me to go shopping with her and I went. She was so easy to talk to and really listened and responded to what I had to say. Grayson was just little and was sitting in the back seat bawling so bad she had to pull over and she apologized and said I would probably never want to have a baby.
The only funny moment I really think about with Karli is when we rode to Enrichment together. I told her I was a bad driver and that night hit a construction cone, in the middle of the road. She was laughing so hard and from then on NEVER let me drive. :) I don't blame her! Get feeling better soon Karli!!!
