overdue again. (:

This last week was chalk full of busyness-lots of work, lots of fun, and just general enjoyment of this time in our lives.  Here are some of the highlights:
Tuesday night meeting with Matt & Jen.  Had a yummy taco salad dinner & visited for a while before we got to work crunching numbers & making progress toward some changes we're making at Cricket.  These two are an amazing couple and have become valued friends.  We put the boys to bed about 8:30 and worked till after midnight with M&J.  Got tons accomplished but by about 11:30 we were becoming kinda loopy.  We even staged a couple pictures of ourselves working.  We were all over the place because we all think better when we're moving, talking, using our hands, etc.  We had computers all over, bowls of fruit/chips, soda, and lots of laughs.  It's so nice having such great people to help us achieve the goals we're working toward.  And, we have tons of fun together which is a nice added bonus as well!
Wednesday I got a little time to myself to get my hair trimmed, drop off a wedding gift order to an old high school friend, run some errands, and hit up the library.  It was nice to get some things done and I was happy as ever to come home to two crazy cute little boys.  That afternoon I had a primary meeting that went well and we spent the night watching SYTYCD.  Love it.
Thursday my sweet neighbor Sharon and the sister missionaries that I love decided to come do some service at my house...by helping me to pull weeds in my crazy jungle garden.  I know, I know, I should not be a garden planter.  It is not my forte.  I had friends help me last year and I still didn't learn.  I was quite embarrassed and told them to go spend their service elsewhere, but they insisted and so we spent a few hours out in the garden.  Grayson loved chatting up a storm to them and I quite enjoyed their visit as well.  Thankful for good thoughtful people.
 Friday started out as a weird day for me.  It was the first day I can remember where I didn't have a bunch of things on the calendar.  Nothing planned, nothing to do.  It was a little late notice to call any friends although I did try a couple of people and everyone was out busy already.  Weird.  I pretty much felt like I'd go crazy if we stayed inside while Zac was at work in Boise all day, so I knew we had to get out of the house.  We ended up going to Grandma Cleaver's and swimming.  Grayson did well getting in with me and even though he kinda hung out by the ladder, I was proud of him for getting in at all.  When I got out, he stayed in and just chilled by the ladder for a while.  Progress, right?  We hung out there for a while and then when Zac got home we headed home and got the boys to bed.  Z and I watched "I am Legend" which we've been wanting to see for a long time.  Liked it a lot & liked the company and watching a movie with my boy even more. (:
 Saturday morning Zac pressure washed the house and cleaned outside for a while.  He noticed that our freezer door had been left open (Grayson had gotten a popsicle the day before & I forgot to check that he'd shut it tightly)...Unfortunately everything had thawed out, so I spent the morning cooking lots of meat so I could re-freeze it.  At least we'll have ready meat for meals now, right?! (:  Later when I was cleaning my cooking mess I opened the fridge to find this sight.  Do you see anything that doesn't belong?  Crazy Grayson!  That afternoon we had a wedding for Zac's second cousin Cody.  It was a short & sweet ceremony during the hottest part of the day.  The boys were good and got a little sunburned but looked so cute in their matching outfits.  We hung with Cleaver's for a while and then went to my folks for dinner.  We hadn't seen them in a few days because they'd been in McCall so that was fun for the boys.  Taylor & her sweet friend Talon & Lance (who's been single for a week because Kels & Jaeger went to her folks), came over to watch "Premonition" after the boys went to bed.  Grayson loves Talon and Taylor because they jump with him, take him to town with them, push him on the swings, etc.  Nice guys!  Another good late night.
 Sunday was a good & relaxing day.  Primary is going well and I totally enjoy the kids & the funny things they say to me.  I'm going to start a little primary journal to record the hilarious things I hear.  Zac and Bex got a nap while Gray and I went to Treyce's birthday party.  We didn't know too many people there and Grayson has been having major separation anxiety when I leave lately so he stayed right by my side which was kinda nice.  It was an ice cream bar event and he loved it!  We stayed & visited for a while and then came home.  Spent the evening at Pete's place and had yummy dinner.  When we left he threw a big fit and wanted to stay.  I was mean and took about 20 pictures of him while he screamed, "Don't take pictures of me mom!  Stop taking pictures of me throwing a fit!"  Sorry buster, but it's pretty funny!
And, in great big news, we have a new niece!  This little cutie made her arrival early this morning.  Zac was in Caldwell having an all staff meeting at our store so he headed to the hospital afterward and ended up staying till Em had had her and didn't get home till 5:00 am this morning.  I'm glad he was able to be there though and we're grateful both Em and sweet baby Lucy are doing well.  Can't wait to meet her and love her!

What cute pictures. I will be out of town for the next almost 2 weeks but I will let you know when I get back. So the boys can have a play date.

All I can say is - CHECK OUT TAYLOR AND HER HOTTIE FRIEND TALON! ( ;

Oh, and what was in the fridge??? I never figured it out and now it's bugging me.

The boys are so cute and Bex is getting so big. Holy cow. Ella and I need to come hang out soon.

One more thing . . . what happened to the strawberry freezer jam?!? Were you able to save it???? I almost started crying thinking about all that delicious freezer jam going to waste. Sad.

Amber, you crack me up! Grayson put the bread in the fridge, silly girl! (NOT! Look for something BIG and YELLOW-haha!)
I'm glad you finally updated, too, Karli. I know it's probably weird that I look forward to reading your posts since I see you almost every day, but it always makes me happy to "read" about your life.
