Friday (1st) was a busy day. I had a bunch of stuff I needed to get done at home and both boys were being super "helpful" so it didn't go as quickly as planned. Zac got home from work just in time to watch them while I went down to Taylor's bridal shower. I had helped mom the day before, but because of my crazy day was totally un-helpful on the actual day of. Sorry Mom! As always, she is amazing and just pulls everything off flawlessly though. It was a great shower...and just the kind I like. Simple, casual, game-less, and everyone enjoyed good food, great company & visiting, and watching Taylor be embarrassed that all the attention was one her. The theme was "a shower of firsts" and each person was assigned a first such as : date night, dinner, pantry, kitchen, home decor, car breakdown, garden, picnic, etc. Such a fun theme and it's awesome to see the variety of things she got. I loved getting to chat with some friends I don't see too often as well. Still can't believe Taylor's getting married, but am so excited for her. Talon is a great guy and they are lucky to have each other.

How fun for Taylor. I'm with you on the easy showers...I despise games! ;) I never noticed before but you and Taylor have many of the same facial features. Especially the mouths!
