December Daily {18th}: Christmas card, Nampa trip & Visiting Friends

Today was a great day.  Spent the morning playing on photoshop.  I wasn't going to do a Christmas card at all because we didn't ever get around to doing family pictures, but Zac insisted I at least do a few for our parents, siblings, and his corporate guys & business associates.  So I used one of the pictures Shelby took of us in October {which I do love} and printed out a couple cards-no inserts.  I think I'll shoot for a spring card instead...but we'll see.  While I was busy & totally immersed at the computer, Beckham was finding pieces of roll on the floor that his big brother had dropped and having a great time.  Grayson, meanwhile, was traveling around the house with a squirt bottle of water & a towel and cleaning everything he could think of.  Pretty sure our house was about flooded after he got done, but at least he was trying to help!

 

Zac thought we needed to get out of the house, so we all piled in the car and headed to Nampa for lunch and to pick up gift cards for his corporate guys.  They are super good to us & deserved a little something.  It started snowing on our drive home and we drove through it to Amber & Todd's new house.  We delivered their Christmas gift & stayed to eat with them and celebrate Tracy's {Amber's mom} birthday.  I have always felt like one of their kids so it was great to be there with her & enjoy the Fischer's new pad.  It's a beautiful home & we are so excited for this new stage in their lives!

We headed home a while later in tons of snow, but thankfully our 4-wheel drive & snow tires don't slow us down too much. (:  It's always the other drivers on the road that worry us the most!  It was a great day & even with a VERY tired & whiny 2 year old in the backseat, we enjoyed conversation on the way home.
