Today was pretty chill. Gray woke up feeling considerably better, but still wouldn't open his left eye {& his right only after much convincing}. We read Christmas books in the morning and then it was as if he had a sudden burst of wired energy and he was literally bouncing off the walls. More than he is normally even! So funny & a little alarming, so I figured it was time for us to get out of the house! We went to visit Great Grandparents Peterson, but they weren't home, so we headed to my folks house. No one was there for a while and the boys just played & Beckham especially enjoyed their Christmas Tigger doll. Everytime he'd dance with his feet, Beckham would move his hands in tandem with Tigger. So cute! He was totally loving him & I was totally loving his super cute smiles!
A while later, Grandpa Alan got home, accompanied by Uncle Bob, Uncle Lance, and Uncle Jeremy. Accompanying them came more gifts for Grayson in the form of John Deere tractor/loader/hay fork tractor, and a sweatshirt that says "dirt magnet." Talk about one spoiled kid! I think I need to have surgery! (: Lance & Kelsey came over to Mom's & brought Grayson a play-do toy that he was super excited to use. He was kind of getting ornery at that point, so we headed home.
That evening Bishop Hartley & Brenda visited and brought Grayson such a sweet gift...his very own mini Christmas tree & mini ornaments to decorate it with along with some little Toy Story 3 action figures. It was so thoughtful of them & we are grateful for their friendship.
Gray kept getting grumpier & grumpier {I blame it on the codeine} and he went down awesome for bed by 8:30. Beckham was up later but is easygoing, so Zac played a little xbox online with Louis & I read my book. Both boys slept in their bedroom & did well all night although Grayson did scream suddenly in his sleep, "I don't want any more doctors!" Haha!
