This morning the boys got up before us, so I got up with them and let Zac sleep in till 9. Grayson was ecstatic about it being Zac's birthday, so I finally gave in and let him wake him up. We all jumped on him & sang to him and had him come out to the kitchen. He opened his new game & his new office chair which Grayson was mostly excited about? & had been wanting to get him one for about a month. It will go in our bedroom office which is where he spends most his time when he's working from home & it will be lots more comfy than the folding chair he was using. He and Grayson started building it right away & had fun doing that together. I made breakfast & we spent the rest of the morning just hanging out, cleaning, etc.

Around 5:00 that evening, we headed over to Amber & Todd's house to spend the night with them. We had a yummy dinner {Denise's delicious broccoli cheese soup & bread bowls}, and the kids loved playing with Ella's new slide & other toys. She and Grayson are in a really fun stage right now and play so well together. She calls him "Deyton" and he calls her "Miss Ella." So cute! The guys got right down to playing Xbox soon after dinner & Amber and I got the kiddos to bed. We pulled out the amazing cheesecake Amber made after that & sang to Zac & let him blow out his candles. It was delicious & all homemade...wow! We visited and watched half of "Eat, Pray, Love," before we got too tired ourselves. We've decided being the mom equates to wanting to sleep more! (: We took Amber & Todd's room and let the guys play their games & sleep in the living room. My boys didn't sleep super well that night, so I didn't get much sleep, but we sure are grateful Amber & Todd would let us come & crash at their pad & have such a great time with them. We love them & love spending time with them because it's completely comfortable. Amber & I are still so much like we were as teenagers & can just feel whatever we're really feeling when we're together which is so nice. There is no extra effort needed, we just are who we are, and we love each other for it. The guys have a blast together & are so funny together & the kids play great, so it's always a good time. Thanks Fischer family!

And of course, a shout out to the sweet man I live with, love with, sleep with, etc. You, Zac, are incredible. You have a way of knowing me, challenging me, making me laugh, and getting inside my head that no one else can do. I love watching you as a dad. You bless the boys & myself every day. You always put me first. You have lofty goals for us & the year 2011 & I can't wait to reach them with you. I love you babe & I'm so glad you're mine. What a great ending to a great year!

I just spent a way long time reading your blog, and all I can say is I loved it! I'm glad that the holidays were so great for you guys, I LOVE your new couch, I'm jealous (once again) that you and Candace got to hang out, and I think your boys are adorable. I hope 2011 is a wonderful year for your little family.
