The boys stayed at Taylor's Monday (31st) and I had meetings in Ontario for TSFL. Got tons done & home with a couple hours to spare & do more work before I needed to pick the boys up. Grabbed them at 2 and Grayson had a surprise for me. Taylor & my mom had found him some Thomas the Train (I like the trains & tracks, but despise the show, so we don't watch it-but that's a whole other post for another day!) Valentine's and he'd had a ball making them.
He spent about 20 minutes when we got home intently creating more. He would demonstrate the process & show me so proudly. After finishing each one he would say, "this one is for ____." {Lyla, Madelyn, Vince, Jhett, Treyce, Amity, Max, Rylee, Jaeger, Grandpa Alan, Daddy, etc}. I love his love for details & careful nature. He is such a mix of me & Zac in his little personality traits, but also carries his own things too. Sure love him.
And can I just say, I've never loved Valentine's day as much as I have since having kids? Every holiday is more magical with littles in the house! We did more decorating {and terrorizing!} the rest of the day & had a fun family home evening at Taylor & Talon's house that evening. We made homemade pizzas, visited, and headed home for the first great night's sleep in over a week! (:

ooh I hope to receive one of those cute Valentines!
I too love the Holidays with kids and especially V-Day. There is only positive in that one. SO sorry to hear about your friends. That breaks my heart and makes me want to go rock my babies. Glad you are feeling a bit better at the house. Hopefully it lasts. We're all under the weather slightly with a cold but you know me....nothing gets us down. I need to be better to just soothe and love. Hopefully we talk soon!
Grayson is so cute, making his valentines haha I love it. And Beckham is growing up too fast! I can't wait to see everyone, I'm just looking for a ride right now. Miss you guys, thanks for everything! =D
