friday

This morning I went into the school & met Julie so we could see if the slideshow worked on the projector.  We were a bit stressed, but everything seemed to work okay, so we agreed to meet back around 1 and get it set up with the tech guy.  I ran home and my Uncle Larry dropped off his boys Adam {14} and Ben {11} to hang out with my boys while I worked.  Wow, they are great babysitters!  They were so good with both boys-especially Grayson.  I got lots done, put Bex done for his nap, and then went to run errands, leaving Gray and a sleeping Beckham in very capable & fun hands.  I ran to Ontario and got groceries, a vanilla diet coke from Burger West {and a very cute Megan waitress}, got my tire fixed at Les Schwab, and headed back to the auditorium for the slideshow run through.  It went well & looked good.  Jewels and I sat till the whole thing was finished & chatted for a bit.  Came home, worked some more & did laundry/dishes/tidying up, while I still had sitters & entertainment for Grayson.  Beckham slept the entire 2.5 hours I was gone and an hour after I got home!

I took the boys back to Grandma's {where I tried paying them and they looked at each other, grinned, and ran off telling me not to worry about it.  I said I wanted to pay them and they said no, that it was fun, and that they insisted on not being paid}...I really hope I can raise my boys like that!  I ran a couple errands, headed back to my mom's & did my run there while the boys played.  Visited with my aunt Laurie, uncle Larry & my parents, and headed back home.  I absolutely love how chill Grayson was in the car with his arms behind his head & his leg swung over his seat.

Becca had called and asked me to help her with some gifts for her brothers in law, so Ellie brought the stuff over and I worked on them.  Got them done and after Grayson was in bed, I again missed my clues from Beckham and he was so tired that he was falling over in the kitchen and finally crashed by the boppy.  Too cute!

Soon after, Taylor and Talon came over to watch a movie.  The guys played xbox while she and I ran the stuff over to Bec's.  She was in jammies & her house was spotless.  She told us her plans for getting ready in the morning.  We peeked in her room where all three kids were sleeping on her bed...such a sweet sight.

Headed back home and watched "Tangled" with Zac and T&T.  It is a way cute movie-one worth having.  It was a good way to end the day for sure.
