Today totally felt like summer. Like super hot-beautiful sunny skies & blue cloud-less sky-the works. Loved it. Took advantage of it. The boys played outside {boots & boxer briefs to play in the water} and loved it. Give Beckham a stick and the kid is happy for hours. Put him outside & he's even happier. Grayson just loves having a buddy out there.
While Beckham napped, I strapped Grayson into the stroller and we went for a 40 minute walk out in the bright hot sun. I ate it up. It felt awesome to be sweating for two reasons. Gray is a good little stroller buddy & keeps me conversing the whole time, which is awesome.
Zac took the boys to my folks tonight while I hosted a client support night and enjoyed talking to a few clients about their successes on the program. Between the three of them they had lost 91 pounds! Totally cool. I headed back to my folks and ate dinner with them and the Sexton's who were visiting there. Grayson was really funny and talkative to them, which was cute. Beckham was so happy with his lasagna. We finished dinner & had a good conversation when Doll shouted that Gray had had an accident. I think he got laughing so hard while she was playing with them and he just got distracted. He's been having them more frequently {usually when too busy or when he gets in trouble & is crying too hard} and I'm trying to be patient. He's always so apologetic and so cute.
{Funny side story: Bruce Sexton was teasing Grayson before I got there that he needed to share his popsicle with him. I guess Grayson wouldn't do it. Before we left Bruce said to Gray, "Thanks for sharing your popsicle with me." Grayson came into the kitchen where I was and whispered to me, "Mom, do you fink he had a popsicle?" I said, "I don't know." He said {while looking in the freezer & finding another popsicle in there}, "No, he didn't!" I laughed and he said, "He is just like Grandpa Alan...a big teaser!" Haha! Love his little smart personality}.
The four of us left & took a quick drive to the farm and then back home. The boys were exhausted because they fell asleep within 5 minutes of being in bed. Zac is playing with Todd on xbox live and I am working on the finishing details of the cd favors for our reunion.
PS: I totally rocked the skinny jeans tonight.
