Beckham at 2

 Beckham is an incredibly fun kid!  Here are some things about him right now:
 -Generally happy
-Loves music and singing.  Can sing Book of Mormon stories {loves the "amanites" verse best}, I am a child of God, ABC's, Spiderman theme song, and Star Wars theme song, on command.  Can also sing the first two tracks off Adele's 21 cd.  Cracks me up every single time.  You can't understand a word he says usually, but he has the tune/rhythmn/beat down perfectly.
-Says lots more words, but still not nearly as vocal as Grayson at this age.  We don't mind, he is the baby and we're letting him take it at his own pace.  Each day brings a new word or saying and he cracks us up.  Grayson is good about getting him to try new words, too.
-Helps with family prayers, "Ankful for dis day!"
-Continues to love and be obsessed with Star Wars and Spiderman.  Can be found with a superhero or star wars figure in hand 90% of the time.
-LOVES nursery {it helps that Jaeger & Kelsey are in there}
-Becoming good little buddies with Jaeger
-Loves his crib. {thank goodness-I'm not planning on switching him til he moves out}.
-He loves being outside.  Jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, running from me, playing with chalk & bubbles, working in the dirt.
-He loves laughing and has an incredibly infectious giggle
-He has the most charming smile & likes most everyone he meets
-Incredibly social.  Loves people, dancing in crowds, other kids.
-Fearless.  Still has the highest pain tolerance I've seen on any kid.  Cries more from anger & frustration at being hurt than the pain, and often doesn't cry at all.  Always has some sort of bruise or wound.
-Great sleeper {finally!}.  He takes a 2.5-3.5 hour nap each day and sleeps through the night, waking around 7:30-8:30.
-LOVES his food.  Chicken nuggets, cereal with milk, toast, yogurt, suckers, popsicles, pb&j sandwiches, hot dogs w/ bun & ketchup, and eggs are among his very favorites.
-He could live off ice cream if we let him.
-He's a small, but solid little guy.  Weighs 30 pounds.  Still wearing 18-24 month jeans {that are too long} and just now getting into 2T stuff.  Size 5 shoes.
-Counts to fifteen pretty well, and 20 some of the time
-Can throw a mean fit/tantrum, but easily distracted and if ignored gets over it quickly.  Hard to discipline because he needs it so rarely and so we haven't established many consistent things.
-Uses good manners {please/thankyou}
-He loves to watch pictures set to music on the tv.  Will dance and watch them for hours at a time.  -He's just now starting to like to sit & be read to {used to want to do it by himself & would usually rip the books}
 -Good helper when cleaning up
-Loves Tay Tay and Talon & going to their house, cries if we pass Jaeger's house without stopping, and loves playing at both grandparents.  
-Very easy to take places, flexible with changes in routine/schedule, fun to go out & about with, and completely adorable.
-He's incredibly charming and can work a crowd 98% of the time.  Only grouchy when he's extremely tired.  An amazing little spirit.

This kid has changed our lives for the better and we seriously can't imagine life without him.  He is the perfect little balance for Grayson and they are slowly but surely becoming better friends.  He is a happy & bright shining light in our home and we are so thankful he is ours!
