{this is how my nails looked the day after. At least I'm picking the polish & not the nail, right?}
Thursday May 3rd, we left our four kiddos with Taylor and headed to Boise. We just had a great time wandering around Barnes & Noble, eating a delicious lunch-where we laughed super hard most of the time-at Olive Garden, and just visiting and chilling together. We always laugh til we cry and are so comfortable together. Love love love her! She dropped me at the coffee shop off an exit & went to get her girls & I waited for Zac to pick me up. {more on that in next post} So glad we could have this fun day together and that our kids played together at Taylor's. She said they were all great and got along good. She said, "Ella talks a lot!" That's saying a lot about little girls because Grayson talks an awful lot for a boy, too. Ha! We had a picture from Olive Garden, but it somehow erased from my instagram, so no pics of us from this day, but thanks Taylor for these of the kiddos.
Amber and I went to Nampa on Thursday May 10th to have another girl's day. Taylor watched the kids again this day, but all of them were a bit grumpier this day, so she had her hands full. We so appreciated her doing that for us. Hopefully the compensation was enough to have her do it again someday. (; Amber & I went and got massages first {wonderful!}, and then walked around Costco for a while, grabbed lunch, and ran home. It was another wonderful few hours and I'm so glad we could carve out some time during her trip to spend together. I had swooned over Kelle Hampton's "Bloom" book last week when we were in B&N and she had gone back & bought it for me as a gift for Mother's Day! Such a sweet gesture and I'm so excited to read it. Amber is the one who introduced me to Kelle's blog right after I had Beckham, so it was so thoughtful. I am so thankful we are going through the Mommy stage together and that even though we live 1500 miles apart {for now}, we can have laugh & cry sessions through skype, phone, text, email, and Facebook. So grateful for technology and for my bestie.
Friday the 11th we had another chance to visit a bit when Amber brought the girls out to see my folks. I took the boys over and the kids all played really well. Grayson had decided he likes "Wrennie Poohsey" now and they all did good. Amber was such a piece of our home when I was growing up and my parents adore her, too. We did the baby voodoo on her to see what this baby's gender will supposedly be, as well as how many kids she'll have in the future. She finds out in a couple weeks, so we'll see if it was right. (: So fun to see her, love on her in person, and adore her babies. Love her so so much!

SO grateful you had those days together. how fun. And OH MY I want to kiss on that Wren (and I haven't ever even seen her in person). So cute! I love the relationship the two fo you have. Everyone needs a friend like that but very few have them.
