When we first started using the nebulizer with Grayson, he cried each time. I would hold him on my lap, cover the nebulizer with a blanket and/or towel (he didn't like the "loudest noises!") and then hold the mask to his face while he whimpered and closed his eyes and mouth. Since we have to do it once in the morning and once at night, I could foresee this being an arduous process to go through for the rest of however long it's needed.
Then one morning after about 5 treatments, I said the hated words, "Bubba, get ready to do your treatment, okay?" He said, "Okay, but I will hold my mask, okay mom?" Really? So just going with the flow I encouraged and gave it to him, started it up (uncovered, mind you), and he just held the mask with his eyes closed & talked my ear off the entire time! Totally random. And so welcome! Now it's not even a fight-he just knows it's helping and that it's working and does so well morning and night & I don't even have to be in the room while he gives himself his medicine! It's awesome. I'm so impressed with this kid....he so often acts nervous or has anxiety about things until he makes up his mind that it's okay and then he's totally fine & in hindsight he's saying, "what was the big deal?" Love you Grayson!

Tell Grayson I'll be home tomorrow and he better give me a BIG hug and a kiss! It's crazy how much I miss my family when I'm gone! Love you all!
Way to go Grayson! What a big boy. He seems to always take and do things so well.
