December Daily {28th}: Sledding

So today was spent totally chillaxin. (:  We read, ate delicious food, played games, watched tv, built puzzles, napped, played the kinect {hilarious}, watched "Inception" {good, intense, confusing, need to watch it again}and the highlight of the day...SLEDDING!  It started snowing last night as we got here and it hasn't stopped yet.  Crazy amounts of snow.  Grayson had been patiently asking about every half hour when he could go outside, but the adults weren't ready yet.  Finally he got the go ahead and everyone bundled up to go enjoy the cold.  Kels & I stayed in with the babies and watched from the big cozy windows.  Grayson loved it.
{You can see how excited he was from the above picture. I absolutely love this pic of the two guys.  And, Grayson's darling hat was made by my sweet friend Sara-she also made one for Beckham}.
Because it was snowing while they were sledding, he wasn't crazy about the snow getting in his eyes {I meant to take goggles up & forgot-mental note for next time!}, so he only went down one time and then wanted to do snow angels.  Plans foiled again because as soon as he layed down, he realized the snow would fall on his face & he didn't love that.  So, plan C was put into effect: build a snowman with Grami.  He did that for a while and then all the guys & Taylor helped him build a little snow fort with a slide on the outside.  He thought that was the coolest thing ever & enjoyed that for a while. Kids are so funny because they can seriously stay outside for hours at a time without noticing the cold!  They all made it inside after a while though and warmed up.
Mom made delicious roast beef enchiladas, rice & beans that night & we visited/hot tubbed/watched tv/made cookies/bathed till bedtime.  Gray went down early because he was so worn out.  Another great day!
