Friday the 7th, we headed to McCall for one last winter getaway. The boys did great & Grayson stayed awake & talked our ears off the entire way there which was a first. We were all ready to get out of the car when we got there! Dad's house was being used, but our friend Don graciously let us use his house. We stayed there on our honeymoon and our 4th anniversary, so it's always fun to go back. Matt, Jen & Cameron came up, followed by their great friends {and now ours}, Jamie & Jamon. We'd met once before, but this weekend allowed us to get to know them better & we totally loved them. That night we just ate dinner, played games, danced & boxed on the kinect {thanks Talon for letting us borrow it!} and talked till late. At about 9:45 Grayson said, "is it time for me to go to bed yet?" Haha! Both boys slept great & we love Don's house.
Saturday morning we all slept in {except me & the boys, of course!} and then Matt made a gourmet breakfast of homemade egg mcmuffins. Pretty impressive! The whole day was spent lounging. The guys went to town for some essentials and the girls cozied up on the beds & chatted all morning. Cameron kindly kept Grayson occupied & Grayson thinks he is about the coolest person ever. Beckham took about a 4 hour morning nap, so we just had a great time talking & laughing. The guys joined us on the 2 full beds & we all laughed that we had a huge house & we were confined to one upstairs bedroom, but it's because the bottom floor is cold with all wood floors & huge windows, so it was cozy upstairs. (: We watched a couple movies {including "Knight & Day" which I liked}, played games, ate good food, and laughed & talked more. Got to bed after a late night game of Phase 10 {boys again to bed early & great} and fell asleep instantly!
Sunday we woke up late again & Cam and Gray played outside in the snow for about an hour while we cleaned up the house & packed up. After we were all packed, Bex was down for his nap, so we all watched "Zoolander," and then headed home. We had a great time and were glad we could get away one last time with such great company!
