ten on tuesday

1. Got to visit with my cousin Elizabeth and two of her sweet girls today. She brought Gray a Thomas movie & the nursery manual for FHE which was so thoughtful, along with a little yummy lotion/bath gel for me. She is adorable and a great mom and it was fun to visit with her.
2. Had the fabulous Amber over to take some shots of baby Beckham. He was hungry and so wasn't cooperating the very best, but the shots she has up on her blog so far are cute-and really, how can you go wrong with this cute baby?! She also brought us garlic french bread and lasagna for dinner-she is too good to us! Gray had fun playing with Ella too!3. After she left, I fed him and took some more shots of Beckham and he was less wiggly. I can't do anything to them because both my photo programs are out of commission, but he's cute regardless!4. Took both boys with me to deliver dishes from people who'd brought meals & they both conked out in the car.

5. Excited to have our good friends Liz & Eric come visit this weekend for a couple nights. It's been a while since I've seen either of them and we love when they visit.

6. Made these yummy pumpkin chocolate chip muffins with Grayson this afternoon courtesy the lovely & talented Becky Higgins. Delish & oh so cute!

7. Talked to Candace this morning for the first time since they had Lyndin-so fun to hear and compare stories. She's doing well and looks surprisingly like her older brother Jhett to me. Amazing how the Lord works. Lyndi is so blessed to be in their home.

8. This morning when Grayson woke up I said, "Did you sleep well?" He said, "yea..." Then he said {in a kind of trembling voice}, "Actually mama, I had spiders on me!" I tried to hold in my laughter and told him I didn't see any spiders and I think he just dreamed it. Poor kid! So funny though.

9. Gray had a little run in with the dresser while Amber was here. His eye and the corner of the dresser connected. I wondered if we'd need stitches or the dermabond glue, but it always looks worse at first when it's bleeding and they're bawling. He settled down with me on the couch for a few minutes of cuddling & loving and seemed to be fine.

10. Elizabeth & I were talking about reading when she was over and I thought I'd post a list of my most recent {as in the last month or two} reads:
-House Rules {Jodi Picoult}
-What the Dr. Ordered {Sierra St. James}
-Lemon Tart {Jodi S. Kilpatrick}
-The Sound of Rain {Anita Stansfield} I'm in the process of reading this one

I have "what the Dr ordered" and i really like that one, it is cute. We really should start a book swap, I have lots of books you might want to borrow. So here are a couple that I was telling you about...

Sarah Strohmeyer:
"The Sleeping Beauty Proposal"
"The Cinderella Pact"

Danielle Steel:

"Big Girl"
"Sisters"
"HRH"

Those are the few so far that I have read from Danielle Steel. I tried reading one called "Family Album" but it took a really gross Gay turn and so I stopped reading it. If you do get any of those books let me know what you thought of them. I will clue you in on more good books as I read them!

I had alot of fun visiting with you and I hope we can do it again soon. The pictures of Beckham are really cute, I love the onesie shots!

I loved the sound of rain! My friend and I have been on the waiting list at the library for the rest of the series and we've finally got the 3rd one. I'm anxious to hear how you liked it.

Yes Justin did play at that funeral in Nyssa!

About the books. Since you're over in Nampa fairly often you should look into the Nampa library card. I don't have one, but my friend does so we check them out on her card. You pay I think $50 for the year and then go online to reserve books you want or go on waiting lists. Then the next book to become available between all of the network libraries (star, boise, meridian, nampa) goes to you! It's been awesome! I'm totally looking forward to having a Star library card when we move. Middleton doesn't carry the Anita Stansfield books either.

I can't get enough of these baby Beckham photos. He is one cute little man! I love that you are always reading some good book. I really liked that you are reading the Twilight books to Zac. You better hurry so you can be all caught up for Stephenie's new book this June! I'm so excited! I had to laugh at poor Grayson's haircut experience. At least he got m&ms out of the deal.
