Taylor watched the boys April 4th {Monday} and I got some work done. When I picked them up, they were enjoying playing in the warmth of the day and her sandbox.
We talked for a bit & then Grayson got to put on his new glasses that I'd picked up earlier that day. He looked adorable-kind of like a young professor in a carseat! I totally fell in love. He did great right from the start. He gets a little tired of them in the evenings, but he gets to take them off about that time anyway. He tells everyone that he can only take them off at bathtime and bedtime and he is super careful about the glass. Cutest thing is when he says, "I have gray glasses just like my dad now!" He thinks they are pretty cool and has handled them so well. He thinks it's the coolest thing ever that he's twins with his dad, so of course we had a quick photo op before bedtime. I'm proud of him-he grows up every day!
That evening Julie and I tracked Becca down in Ontario to get more pictures from her and it was nice to visit with Julie and to see Bec. After I got home, Grayson was in bed and I was getting ready to put Beckham down {I always wait till Gray's asleep before putting Beckham in his crib because he falls asleep right away if he doesn't have any distractions}, and I looked over to this sight. Cutest thing ever. Grateful for good friends & a sweet family. Grateful that Grayson is such a good boy. He didn't even question the glasses thing. We told him to wear them because they will help him and he just did it. No tantrums, no whining, etc. He is careful and respectful, asks before removing them from his face, and really does adjust much better than I give him credit for. I'm grateful that Beckham is flexible. That he'll fall asleep anywhere when he's tired. That he's so mobile and curious. That he has the cutest & mischievous grin when he's doing something naughty. I'm grateful that Zac is the best daddy ever. That he tells me every day how much he loves me. That he teases me and brings me down off the dumb stressed out mommy cliffs I sometimes get on. I really did get blessed with these three boys I have.
Tuesday the 5th, the boys and I had a playdate in Meridian with Corbin, Noelle and Hudson. Jeremy and Noelle recently moved to Nampa and have a beautiful home, so it was fun to get the grand tour and to visit for a while and let the boys play. Gray and Corbin get along really well together and Beckham just loves to be where the action is. Noelle is a sweetie and I'm glad we finally took the time to get together!
When we got home, I put Bex down for a nap. Grayson and I enjoyed the sunshine outside together. I am loving the signs of spring, my sweet boy in his cute glasses, and playing with sidewalk chalk again. I read & worked on my laptop while he played which was blissful. My mom showed up unexpectedly with a bottle of this delicious goodness, too. So sweet & thoughtful!
That evening I met with a couple clients. That always brings me joy and I love laughing and talking about similar struggles & accomplishments. Zac watched the boys and when I got home they were all chillin in the living room with the music on super loud. Nothing calms Beckham down if he's the least bit worked up like loud music. He just zones in on it and moves his little body while focusing so deeply on the sounds. I love it. I love that Zac has that tradition with the kids too and we all look forward to listening and dancing to music together several times a week.

Can't wait to read your conference post because you always inspire me with how you learn and grow. I have to say I AM IN LOVE with Grayson in his glasses. Can he honestly be any cuter? I love him!
